Explore the breathtaking Jeita Grotto, The Jeita Grotto, the longest cave complex in the Middle East, consists of two interconnected limestone caves shaped over millions of years. Situated 300 meters above sea level, the grotto features a dramatic height difference of 305 meters. The upper cave stretches 2,130 meters and showcases an impressive array of crystallized formations, including stalactites, stalagmites, columns, mushrooms, ponds, curtains, and draperies. Below it, the lower gallery extends 6,200 meters and is traversed by a serene underwater river and lake, situated 60 meters beneath the upper cave.
Discover the Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa, Harissa is a major Christian pilgrimage destination, home to the impressive shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon. At the heart of this site is a 15-ton bronze statue of the Virgin Mary, known as Our Lady of Lebanon or Notre Dame du Liban. This striking white statue, with outstretched arms, was created in the late 19th century and inaugurated in 1908. Inside its base, you'll find a small, serene chapel. Adjacent to the statue stands a grand cathedral constructed of concrete and glass.
The Telepherique is one of Lebanon’s oldest and most popular attractions. This gondola lift, located in Jounieh just 16 km north of Beirut, glides passengers high above lush, pine-clad mountains to an elevation of 650 meters. At the top, you'll arrive at the stunning Our Lady of Lebanon shrine in Harissa, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Jounieh Bay and the surrounding cityscape.
