We’ll start our journey at the Mar Lishaa Monastery, a quiet and serene spot where many have found peace. As we walk the 5.3 km path to the Qannoubine Monastery, you’ll be surrounded by the sounds of birds singing and the sight of lovely waterfalls. When we reach the Qannoubine Monastery, one of the oldest Maronite monasteries in the valley, you’ll feel the deep spiritual atmosphere. Take a moment to meditate, pray, or just soak in the peaceful surroundings.

If you’re up for more adventure, you can choose to continue to Our Lady of Hawqa. This optional hike adds another 7 km to your journey, making it 17.6 km in total, but the extra distance is well worth it for the beautiful views and sense of accomplishment.
