Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park to KaratuDrive to Tarangire National Park, a wildlife haven known for its massive herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and impressive birdlife. Enjoy a guided game drive as you explore the park’s diverse terrain and encounter animals such as giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, and more. Around midday, pause for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park. Continue your afternoon safari as you search for the park’s elusive wildlife and admire the wide, open savannahs. In the late afternoon, transfer to Karatu, a charming town nestled near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to ArushaAfter breakfast, drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa. Enjoy a half-day safari on the crater floor, home to a dense population of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and (occasionally) leopards.
