Masjid Aisha is one of the designated Miqats (places for putting on the Ihram) for pilgrims traveling to Mecca. The mosque is named after Aisha, one of the wives of Prophet Muhammad, who is said to have stopped at this location to put on the Ihram before performing Umrah. It is located 7 km away from Masjid Al Haram.
This is the place to go to if you want to renew your Ihram and go back to Makkah to do your Umrah. Masjid Aisha is also known as Masjid Al Taneem.
