Sharm El Sheikh: 1-Day Discover Scuba Diving

Try scuba diving in Sharm El Sheikh with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program, designed for beginners with no previous diving certification. You’ll start with a confined-water training session to learn basic techniques and become comfortable with your scuba equipment.

Once you’re ready, you’ll complete two open-water dives under the supervision of a professional PADI instructor. The experience also gives you credit toward a PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water certification, valid for 6 months.

Know Before You Go

• No prior diving certification is required.
• The minimum age is 10 years old.
• General physical fitness is required.
• You must be able to tread water for 10 minutes.
• You will complete a PADI Medical Questionnaire before diving.
• If you have a medical condition listed on the questionnaire, you must provide signed clearance from a doctor specializing in diving medicine before starting.
• A medical assessment can be arranged locally at the hyperbaric chamber if needed.
• The open-water dive reaches depths of up to 12 meters.
• The experience can provide credit toward a PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water certification, valid for 6 months.
