Sharm El Sheikh: Discover Scuba Diving Course

If you are a complete beginner and want to experience the thrill of Scuba Diving but don’t want to start a full course then the PADI Discover Scuba Diving will be the choice for you.

It will also count towards your PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water certificate if you decide to continue with your diving education.

What are the requirements?

• No prior certification required
• General physical fitness and an ability to tread water for 10 minutes
• Minimum age 15 years. 10 years for Junior Open Water

What will you learn?

• Breathing rules and equalization techniques
• Scuba diving equipment use and purpose
• Hand signals
• Regulator and mask clearing techniques
• Respect for aquatic life
• Importance of watching and staying close to the instructor
• Limitations of the programme and the value of further training

Pricing
The price for this course starts at € 85 per person.

Then your instructor will take you to make a confined dive in the shallow water of the Red Sea (not exceeding 4 meters) to practice your skills.

Your second dive will be an open water dive on our house reef (up to a maximum of 12 meters) and this can be used as a credit towards either the PADI Scuba Diver Course or PADI Open Water Course.

The course is also offered in Spanish, French and German.

There is also a 10% discount for Egyptians.

*The credit only applies when the course is made within 6 months from completion of the PADI Discover Scuba Diving.

****Please note that all student divers must complete the PADI Discover Scuba ® Diving Participant Statement and Medical Questionnaire prior to starting any course. If a student has any of the medical conditions that are listed then signed clearance from a doctor experienced in diving medicine must be provided on check-in, this can also be arranged locally with the doctors at the hyperbaric chamber.
