- Day 1: Zanzibar to Mikumi + Maasai Cultural VisitYour journey begins with an early morning hotel pickup in Zanzibar, followed by a transfer to the ferry terminal for the 7:00 AM sailing to Dar es Salaam, arriving at 8:40 AM. From there, you’ll board the 9:30 AM high-speed train to Morogoro, a scenic ride that offers glimpses of rural Tanzania before arriving at 11:15 AM. - Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Mikumi National ParkAfter an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. This is one of Tanzania’s wildlife gems, where open savannahs provide perfect opportunities to spot elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffalo, antelopes, and many other species in their natural habitat. The morning drive focuses on capturing the best light and the most active moments of predators. Around midday, enjoy a buffet lunch inside the park before continuing your exploration in the afternoon, when the softer light makes for stunning photography.
